Judd Kessler was the legal advisor at the U.S. Embassy during Allende's years and one of those interviewed in the documentary. His response to the film:

"The most memorable conclusion I can recall from the film was that Allende had been a leader – and whenever a leader arises in Latin America, the US finds a way to get rid of him. We played a role, but the Chileans made this happen. Think of it? We invested $10 million in supporting opposition groups and media. Even in that time, it wasn't very much. The fact is that after the decisions he made in the first year, time was not on his side. Unless he could control his own coalition – which he couldn't – the downward cycle was just going to continue."

Making a DVD copy for former Ambassador to Chile, Nathaniel Davis's widow.

Nathaniel Davis was the first person I contacted to interview but he had just suffered a stroke and could no longer enunciate words properly. (He passed away in May of this year). His wife was very helpful, however, with helping me find Americans who had been in Chile during Allende's time and who were willing to sit down and talk.

(The picture is the original back cover of the DVD. Eventually, it would change to a CIA document and the credits at the bottom).
